color me white and navy.

I have been obsessing over this hat and scarf since Christmas, then it got out of control within the last week, so... on Saturday I took advantage of the beautiful day, went for the perfect walk and treated myself.
Dear Hat and Scarf, I love you. Truly yours, Mimi

The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.

close to my heart.

I've started wearing my mums old locket again, not to sure why I stopped. The picture inside is her when she was about my age. And the snowflake pendant was a gift from her this Christmas, it is identical to my tattoo. I have been thinking of having the locket added on. That way I'll always have it on me even if I stop wearing the chain.

remember the days?

Friday night a bunch of friends got together to drink, a lot. Back in the days this would have been called a house party. Thanks for the good times friends. Glad we came out alive with only a few bumps, sore throats, and numbers.

girl crush.

big time.
(no lezbo)

thank you.

Last summer Crooks & Castles and Mosley Tribes put out a pair of collaboration sunglasses, I have been dying for a pair since then. Because Mosley Tribes was distributing them it has been difficult to get my hands on a pair. The other day I, again, mentioned that I wanted a pair and low and behold a belated Christmas present landed on my desk this morning. Thank you Matt.

Dan showed this to me last night. Definitely got the eye glaze when they reunited.

Heart to Heart

I could have not asked for more from 2008; I am a lucky lady to have developed and maintained relationships with so many wonderful, interesting, influential people in the last year. The people you surround yourself with define the person you are. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my life in 2008. I am stronger and happier because of you.

Welcome Welcome!

Today was a good day.
Woke up without even snoozing.
Went to work, got what needed to be done done.
Had a very exciting top secret all day email convo with Hana.
Had a wonderful lunch at Burger King with Charles. (Its not the food it's the company)
Chatted with a long lost friend on fbook.
Finally got 13 people to agree on a place to eat tomorrow night. phew.
and the most important event of today is yet to come!

Kenza is home! My long, not lost, lady soldier has arrived.
Welcome home boob. You have been incredibly missed.

Merry Xmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!
What a perfect Christmas eve day! I am just about to leave the city for Mont Tremblant to spend the next few days with my fam and extended fam. The thing I am most excited for is definitely the time I get to spend with my nephew, Ben. (He is even cuter than the Rudolph I made (above)). My family is filled with Christmas tradition, but this year Ben is an addition so it will be exciting to have a nubie Christmas participant. The legend of Santa Clause is back for the next ten-ish years. Fun.

See most of you all soon and Merry Xmas again.

ps. This will be the last blog post for a few... cause my family house is so deep in the woods they only get dial up! Ha! (at least I get cell service now.)

Xo.

Sundays

I love Sunday morning breakfast almost as much as my girls.

Sick.

So I've been fighting a cold for the last week, and I lost the battle. On Monday I got to work and it hit me. It's a sinus thing. Every minute I'm fighting to keep my eyes open, and then when I finally get the chance to sleep I wake up every hour or so. My nose is red, dry, runny, itchy. I thought I could fight with an obscene amount of vitamin C, so I ate like 3 dozen clementines this week and then changed to oranges cause I was getting sick of clemmies. For awhile I thought it was working but finally it caught up to me. Yesterday I got a splitting headache and my ears had been popping, and hands were shaky at lunch; I had to take the afternoon off work and didn't go in today. It's 6:50pm and why do days off in the week feel so much longer than days off on the weekend? Is it because you are not counting down the minutes? or is it a conspiracy and there are actually extra hours? Long story short, I'll drag myself back to the office tomorrow hopefully this time off will give me the leg up I needed to get better.

Here are the three things every person needs on a sick day:

Buckley's, Moulin Rouge! and...
a TRACEY!

I loooove ya!
